New England
Новая Англия (район США).
An area in the NE United States, including the states of Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. The name New England was first given to the region by Captain John Smith in his map of 1616. Though organized into separate colonies or states the region hasalways maintained a certain degree of uniformity in its religion as well as in its economy.
